Leon's Frozen Custard

  A few shots from a trip to Leon's with Amanda and David on a warm Milwaukee night last week. These photos are a reminder that I   need to soak up this time while I still can. (I'm Seattle-bound in less than a month!) As excited as I am about heading out to the West   Coast, I'm really going to miss nights like this in the Midwest.

  Wisconsin summers remind me of my childhood and how perfect everything felt when I was small. It feels like just yesterday that I   was riding on the pegs of David's bike through our neighborhood, feeling alive and smiling from ear to ear... It's hard to believe that   was over a decade ago! Where does the time go? I love being able to laugh and reminisce nearly 15 years later, not too far from our old   stomping grounds. Something about that is so bittersweet to me. I absolutely cherish nights like these.

Seattle, Washington

  Back in April, I took a little two week vacation to the West Coast. I spent a week in California (posting those pictures soon!) and then   took a train to Seattle, Washington to meet up with my brother and my cousin.

  The three of us spent a week in Seattle because, surprise, we're moving there next month! We found a house and signed a lease and   will be heading out West in mid-June. We're all ready to say good-bye to Wisconsin for a while to see what Washington has in store   for us.

  I'm SO excited and can't believe it's all happening in less than a month!

  I didn't take a whole lot of photos while we were there since we literally spent most of the trip either in the car, in the apartment   setting up appointments, or out driving, scoping out places or meeting up with realtors, but I thought I'd share the few photos I did   manage to take.
